Infoniqa Appoints Elona Mortimer-Zhika as Chair of the Board

Wels, Austria, 25 September 2025 –Infoniqa Group (“Infoniqa”), a leading provider of HR, payroll, finance and ERP solutions in the DACH region, today announced the appointment of Elona Mortimer-Zhika as Chair of its Board. Mortimer-Zhika, a highly respected technology executive, brings extensive experience in scaling global software businesses, driving digital transformation, and embedding strong ESG and diversity practices. Among other achievements, she shaped the global success of IRIS Software Group, a leading provider of accounting, HR, and payroll software and services, where she served as CEO for over five years. Her appointment as Chair of the Board of the Infoniqa Group marks the beginning of a new phase ofgrowth.

Infoniqa is a market leader in HR, payroll, finance,and ERP solutions across the DACH region, serving over 40,000 customers across Europe. The group also recently acquired market leading solutions such as BRZ, Sawayo and Perview.

Mortimer-Zhika succeeds Mark Nieuwendijk, who has served as Chair since 2020. Nieuwendijk will remain on the Board, working alongside Mortimer-Zhika, CEO Hans-Jürgen Wels and existing investor Warburg Pincus to build on the group’s current momentum.

Elona Mortimer-Zhika was born in Albania and earned a scholarship to the United World College of the Atlantic at the age of 16, an experience that shaped her global outlook and lifelong commitment to equal opportunity.
